H1 lubricants for robot gearboxes and linear technology

Lubricating oils such as LFC 92100 and LFC 921000 are developed for use in robot gearboxes, with NSF H1 approval.

Traditionally, robotic systems were limited to conventional lubricants, restricting their use in food and pharmaceutical environments. H1-approved lubricants enable these systems to be used in applications where incidental contact requirements must be met.

These lubricants are used in gearbox types such as spur and worm gears and have been applied in industrial robotic systems under continuous operation, demonstrating suitability for practical use.

Application in regulated industries

In pharmaceutical and food processing environments, automation is increasingly required to improve efficiency and consistency.

HACCP-based production systems often require the use of H1 lubricants in defined areas. The availability of H1-approved lubricants for robotic systems supports the integration of automation into these environments.
